My students need problem solving everyday! I created this problem solving journal to help make this a quick and painless process and the haunting October theme for a bit of fun! This file was created with second grade in mind and covers:

money
measurement
time
geometry
The common core standards are printed on the front cover. There are 21 problems. Each problem includes a work space and a space to explain their work. A list of possible problem solving strategies is included on the back page. I also included a chart at the end for students to keep up with their progress.
