This annotation guide helps students keep track of what happens in each section of "Oedipus Rex" with boxes for characters, major events, words they don't know, the main conflict, their thoughts and questions. For students who have their own notetaking style while reading there's also a blank notes page for them to keep track of everything that happens.

My ninth graders found this helpful when they were processing what they were reading but even more so when they were writing their Oedipus essay as it helped them go back to the correct places in the tragedy for quotes.
