What an exciting way to channel your students' interest in the Winter or Summer Olympics into important mathematics practice!
In this activity the students will complete multiplication questions and then color their answer with a corresponding color. It is like a color by numbers only using times tables and a 100s chart.
The questions on this sheet go up to 12x12, with the exception of numbers that do not have factors between 2 & 12 (such as 37). In this case, the number is multiplied by 1 (e.g. 37 x 1)
The final image your students will create is a burning Olympic torch!
This file is also available as 8.5x11 sheets. If you are unable to print 11x17, these would be a much better option. In the 8.5x11 size the 100s chart and place value clue sheet are printed separately. Please visit my store to get that file.
