Description

**This is a Boom Card Deck. Learn more at: www.boomlearning.com. It is also part of a set--look for "Returning to the Classroom" to complete your set!

Are you going back to school in the online or hybrid format? This deck is specially designed to review basic expectations for at-home/distance learning. Students will look and listen to scenarios and choose whether the student in the picture is making a good or bad decision about their learning.

Things covered: how to sit, asking parent for help, no pets or toys or distractions, facing the camera, finding a quiet spot to learn, how to mute mic, no distracting others, raising your hand, back to the wall and no other people on screen, no messing around, being prepared, on music, being responsible to do your independent work at home, no food, dressing appropriately. There are also several cards that review common symbols: mic on/mic muted, camera on/off, batter low/full.

Boom Learning is one of the fastest growing teacher resources. Decks are inexpensive, but extremely effective. Accounts are free, and you can assign decks to your students whether in the classroom or learning at home. You can also print the cards to use for other purposes in the classroom. There are 20 cards in this deck. It's a great way to start the year, set and reinforce expectations, and get some easy practice in for using Boom Cards this year!

All decks made by MakeTeachingFun! Resources are meticulously designed and super engaging for students. They'll ask to do them again and again, and ask for more. What's brilliant about them is that they can be used in class for centers and independent jobs, as well as whole class or small group on an interactive white board. BUT...in these times when schools are closed...and open...and closed...and hybrid... (oye!) BOOM CARDS can easily be used for distance learning! Students can access any links you provide for at-home practice and learning.

When you purchase, you will receive a PDF file with the link to this deck. If you already have a Boom Learning account, just add the deck to your Library. If you don't, just do the simple sign up process and then add to your Library. Once the decks are in your Library, you can assign to students as desired.

Your kids are going to love these!
