On/Off Task Behavior Observation Sheet
Share

Description

This handout will be great if you are a school psychologist trying to take on/off task behavior in the classroom! On/Off task behavior observations are great when collecting data on a child (noted as "T" for "target" on the handout), especially one with attention difficulties. The handout includes a section to include basic information about the child that you are observing such as their name, date, location/setting, interval time, time of observation, and the teacher's name or class. There are 60 intervals that can be completed and you can choose whichever amount of time suits you best!(I typically do 15 second intervals for a total of 15 minutes observation). There is also a place to collect data on a peer in the classroom (noted as "P" on the handout). The notes section gives you plenty of space to include anecdotal notes, ABC data, etc.
