The "One Hundred Chart Detectives" Math Activity Center has been an absolute favorite in my 2nd-grade classroom! As a teacher, I’m always looking for interactive and engaging math activities that reinforce foundational skills, and this resource hit it out of the park. It's a fun, hands-on way to help students explore number patterns, place value, skip counting, and more using the familiar 100 chart.

It was a little too easy for my third quarter second graders. They liked solving each case quickly, though!

Thanks for the feedback Amber! One way to differentiate this product is to read out the clues one at a time. This promotes more critical thinking. Once they have all three clues they should be able to solve the "mystery" pretty quickly. Another idea is to have them write some of their own detective clues and lead their class in a round! I hope you have more fun with it in future years! Megan
