This grid paper was perfect for my students who struggled. It was very easy to see the squares and keep division organized. I also used this to create a multiplication grid. Good to use with lots of things!

Thank you for taking the time to create this! Most of my students struggle with reading, I lose them in the textbook. It helps to find resources that can engage quickly without them feeling defeated before they've begun.

True. We used this type of resource - besides math - to blow up or enlarge a picture of a historical figure. Each kiddo would take a square and create that squares’ picture from the grid. Then, we would put the pieces together on the wall in a full scale picture of Abraham Lincoln or George Washington, etc. It was an amazing sight to see. Thank you for taking the time for feedback. Best to you and your kiddos. Blaine Helwig

Thank you for the feedback! When I was a teacher we did the same thing you did - or I think we did. I used the cm by cm grid and the 1/2" by 1/2" grid to enlarge a portrait of an historical figure we were studying in social studies. Each student used the grid for a section of the portrait, and then we put them all together and the a small letter sized portrait of (say, Abraham Lincoln) was 20 feet tall by 10 feet wide. Each kiddo colored their section/part in conjunction with the small portrait. The final product was hung in the school gym. The students took so much care in getting it done, and it was beautiful. I am pleased your project was successful as well. Best to you and your students this school year. Blaine Helwig
