Description
This set includes 4 different games for students to practice the concept of 'One More' and 'One Less'.
~There is a set of candy corn shaped puzzles that students can put together.
~ A dice game called "Roll then...". Students can roll a die, write down the number of the die and the print the number that is +1 and -1. This activity can be used to practice this concept with a large variety of numbers depending on the die you use.
~There is a 'Race to the Finish' game where students take turns rolling a die then picking up a '+1' or '-1' card. They then color in that number of squares on the gameboard.
~To finish it off there are a couple of 'Bump It' games. One gameboard to practice +1 and one to practice -1. Depending on the gameboard they are using they will +1 or -1 from the number they roll on a die. They then put a colored marker on that number. If they can get 2 markers on a number then they 'have' that number. If they have one marker on the number and their friend gets the same number then their friend can 'BUMP' them off that number. I've included 2 blank gameboards for to use with numbers larger than those on a traditional die.
