There are errors in the math and the decimals are hard to see when they are printed off due to the font used.

I used this to supplement my son's homeschool experience. Great worksheet, however there are some typo errors that my son discovered before I did that caused some frustration. Especially being that there are errors in the document, I really feel like this was a waste of $3.

My students enjoy this kind of an activity, but there are errors on the owl. Many answer are not on the owl. x + 0.99 is 0.01, which is not on the owl. There is 0.1 on the owl, which is the intended answer. 0.018 = -0.3x x = -0.06 not -0.6, as listed in the answer key and on the owl. x/7 = 0.5 x = 3.5 not 0.35 which is the listed answer on the key and on the owl. Unfortunately I can't edit the document. I can print and use white out and and write the correct ones on the owl. Hopefully this can be corrected as it is unfortunate to pay for something that can't be used as is.

Students like using these types of work sheets because they can check their answers. There were so many great practice problems I ended up counting it as a quiz grade.

Standards

Solve multi-step real-life and mathematical problems posed with positive and negative rational numbers in any form (whole numbers, fractions, and decimals), using tools strategically. Apply properties of operations to calculate with numbers in any form; convert between forms as appropriate; and assess the reasonableness of answers using mental computation and estimation strategies. For example: If a woman making $25 an hour gets a 10% raise, she will make an additional 1/10 of her salary an hour, or $2.50, for a new salary of $27.50. If you want to place a towel bar 9 3/4 inches long in the center of a door that is 27 1/2 inches wide, you will need to place the bar about 9 inches from each edge; this estimate can be used as a check on the exact computation.
