Description

Are you teaching 6th grade math? Are your students just getting into one step equations? Maybe you have been working on them, and some of your them are still not getting it. Well, search no longer.

How it is used:

In this resource, teachers present this powerpoint on the board, going over each individual step on how to solve multiple example problems. Together the class will go thorough a problem for each of the four basic operations (addition [+], subtraction[-], multiplication [x], and division [÷]).

Throughout the presentation, there are different visual aides like arrows, bold text and side notes that make the content student friendly so that they can get the best out of learning the concept.

At the end of the presentation, there are a set of problems that students can practice on their own or with a group. An answer key is included so that students can check their answers.

I was unable to print this resource and resorted to copying and pasting the material. The resource was great, very helpful. However, the way it was formatted was frustrating. Variable Soup quickly resolved the problem. I am now able to access the resource. Thank you!
