This secret message activity required students to apply their knowledge of solving one step equations with integers to discover a secret message. There are 18 problems in mixed practice. Students can then check their work by finding their answers in the secret message grid. It is also a good task for early finishers. By shading all cells containing the correct answer students will discover an earth shattering message.
