Description
This bundle is aligned to Common Core Standards 6.EE.7 and 7.EE.3, solving one step equations, and includes:
- A Mini-Assessment to give before playing the games in order to determine which students are ready for the different levels of games.
-36 Task Cards for One Step Equations w/ Whole Numbers
-36 Task Cards for One Step Equations w/ Positive Rational Numbers
-36 Task Cards for One Step Equations w/ Integers
-36 Task Cards for One Step Equations w/ All Rational Numbers
-Game Boards for Each Game
Ideas for Use: Use this game set to culminate each step along the way towards mastering solving one step equations with rational numbers. OR Use this set for the ultimate differentiation day. Have each student complete the mini-assessment to determine his/her readiness. Depending on which topic the student has mastered, allow the student to play that certain game within stations set up around the room. This way every student is performing one step equations on his/her independent level and students of the same level are competing!
