Description

This set of 6th grade math binder notes provides an organized set of notes and practice problems for solving one-step multiplication and division equations. Students are introduced to the Multiplication Property of Equality and the Division Property of Equality and taught that properties of equality and inverse operations can be used to solve one-step equations. Then students are given 12 skills-based practice problems and three word problems for further guided or independent practice. Each problem will ask students to solve, as well as identify the property used to solve.

There are two options- option 1 includes whole numbers and option 2 includes integers.

These notes work great during guided instruction, small groups, reteaching, or review before an assessment.
