This is a slideshow I made while teaching online to help my students get practice and immediate feedback while learning to use a percent proportion to solve word problems. It includes 10 word problems, which all have a worked out solution.
I found that my students were able to independently work through the problems in our Zoom meeting, and that they had a good grasp on how to solve problems similar to these after doing this.
Students liked that they would see immediately if they had the correct method to solve the problem. I used this as a follow up to the first lesson I did on using the percent proportion to solve straightforward problems (found in this 22 Page Study Guide for Percents).
