This product is packed with materials to assist Kindergarten teachers in Ontario (Canada) with play-based/inquiry-based learning. I have been working on developing this pack for over a year and wanted to be sure to include many things you may need when reporting, documenting and assessing students. All of the examples, comments, printables, etc. come straight from my own classroom. Both PDF and *editable* PowerPoint comments are included. ***You can download the PREVIEW to see all that's included - I have added a SAMPLE REPORT CARD COMMENT page (a few comments from each frame are included to give you an idea of how I structure the comments).***
This pack is broken down into the following sections:
REPORT CARD COMMENTS:
Over 450 report card comments are included for each frame (Belonging & Contributing, Self-Regulation & Well-Being, Demonstrating Literacy & Mathematics Behaviours and Problem Solving & Inquiry) as well as a separate file with comments for Physical Education/Health/Drama/Dance/Music. Also includes separate file for Distance Learning comments organized by frame. Each frame is divided into three categories: Key Learning, Growth in Learning, and Next Steps. Comments can be used when writing Initial Observations (in the fall) and Kindergarten Communication of Learning reports (1st and 2nd term). Headers for each section are also included if you wish to print and organize in binder.
!!!NOTE!!! These comments are to be used in conjunction with specific evidence (supported by your own documentation) - I have included many quotes and examples from my own report cards that may help :)
