This bundle includes our addition, subtraction, introduction to multiplication and introduction to division guided notes. Our guided notes are designed to be used for teaching and to create notes that support students when practicing.
Complete each guide as a class to build a set of notes that students can refer back to as they practice. Alternatively, provide students with the completed note set as review or to scaffold their learning while they are familiarizing themselves with multiplying polynomials. These are introductory notes that include multiplying and dividing polynomials by a monomial.
Each problem has been solved using both algebra tiles and mathematical symbols. Choose between two different legends for positive and negative tiles, to suit what works in your classroom.
Twelve challenge algebra tile problems are included with this bundle focusing on multiplying binomials and dividing by a binomial. Use the challenge questions to help students master algebra tiles and to extend student learning.
