Description

This lesson description covers a few basics of teaching opinion writing and closely reading informational text. Included are the OREO graphic organizer, a CUPS and an ARMS mini-sign, the Writing Process mini-sign and a lesson recommendation using text.
Though this lesson was done with third graders in mind, versions of it have been facilitated as high as 6th grade- using the material mentioned here.
