Description
This project was created for an 8th grade U.S. history classroom. It involves students interviewing an elder (preferable a grandparent) about what history he/ she has lived witnessed first hand. This was used as part of an introductory unit on primary sources and U.S. government. Included is an explanation sheet, sample template for the interview, hand out with all of the questions, and grading sheet. At the end of the year, most of my students say that this was their favorite project.
