Description

These guided notes notes will guide students through the order of operations. This set of notes is meant for an Algebra 1 class and goes through order of operations including square roots, cube roots, exponents and absolute value. There are a total of 2 pages of notes, 2 pages of practice (that can be used as classwork or homework) and a 4 question exit ticket to have students practice and master the order of operations.

What's included:

  • PDF download of notes going through the order of operations starting with the vocabulary and review of the order of operations. Both PEMDAS and GEMDAS are included as options plus a fully EDITABLE version if that doesn't work for you. (2 pages)
  • 20 problem practice worksheet that can be used as classwork or homework (2 pages)
  • 4 question exit ticket (2 per page)
  • editable versions of everything mentioned above (please note- you will need PowerPoint to edit!)
  • Answer keys to everything!
