Description
Looking for a fun order of operations review? Students practice evaluating expressions using the order of operations in this math pennant activity that doubles as math classroom décor. Students love seeing their hard work displayed!
Some pennants have more difficult PEMDAS problems than others, allowing you to easily differentiate the activity for your students. Once a pennant is complete, it can be displayed in your classroom to show the world that, "Hey, we know the order of operations!"
*If you are looking for a similar OOO activity for younger students, please see: Order of Operations Math Pennant (for younger students)
Included inside:
30 math pennants, 2 more difficult bonus pennants, an optional student sheet and an answer key.
Each group of students can be given a set of pennants, scissors and either glue, tape or a stapler. Students can be in charge of cutting out the pennants. Groups can compete to see which group can complete the most pennants or your entire class can add pennants to one string as they complete each one. You may also choose to have your students color their pennants to add to your classroom décor.
