Description

Some are silly, some are fun and you will learn by solving each one! To solve the riddles, you must use the correct order of operations. (Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiplication & Division, Addition & Subtraction) Once you solve the mathematical equation, turn your calculator upside down to read the answer to the riddle. Good Luck!

This set has 24 riddles with an extension activity for your students!

Note: I give my students arithmetic calculators from the local dollar store to use for this activity to ensure they are using PEMDAS. Scientific calculators will automatically solve the equations for them if the student types in the equation as given.
