Description
Order of Operations Task Card Activity
Students practice simplifying numerical expressions using order of operations. There are a total of 12 task cards + 4 bonus task cards.
Students can check their solutions to the initial 12 problems by scanning the QR code on the card. An internet connection is not required but students will need access to a device with a QR scanning app.
The four bonus task cards are intended to challenge students and oftentimes require students to think beyond the concepts covered in class. It is my hope that you and your students enjoy the exploration and discussion that these extra problems create!
Also included is a printable template for students to record their solutions.

Awesome to hear! Thank you for the feedback :-)
Worked well as a cheat sheet
Thank you for the feedback. I want to pick your brain to get some constructive feedback to make the product better. I am trying to understand the comment you left and I am assuming your students just scanned the QR code and wrote down all the final solutions without showing any work…? Would you suggest having a set of task cards without access to QR codes?
Used this for centres for review at the beginning of the school year. My students enjoy them.
