Description
Do Double Stuf Oreos have double the "Stuf?" (yes... it's only spelled with one "f"!)
How do you make reviewing measurement in science fun?
How do you assess kids prior knowledge with a cool activity that is self graded?
The answer to all of these is our famous "Oreo Escape Room!"
Students are presented with simple measurement challenges based on pictures. If they answer the question correctly, it allows them to move on to the next challenge.
If students get the question wrong, AUTOMATIC CLUES COME UP WHICH EVEN INCLUDES A VIDEO SHOWING HOW TO GET THE CORRECT ANSWER! This allows students to learn as they go!
Because it is an escape room, it only asks for their information once they have completed the entire challenge which means they have all earned 100% (making grading easy!)
You can make a copy of this Escape Room and use it with other disciplines as well!
SUPER SUPER SUPER fun activity.
In my classroom, I use it at the beginning of the year to review measuring in science. It takes most students 15-20min to complete. Good times!
