Description
Do you have students learning how to: read fluently, read sight words, identify color words, follow directions, or all of the above? The ornament (winter themed) fluency building sentences allow students to master each sentence with repetitive practice. It also requires them to show comprehension of the sentences read, by using a specific color to draw something on the picture with the use of directional words (above, below, right, left, top, bottom, between). You can use these fluency building sentences as a whole class daily warmup, during small group instruction, as a center, or individually with a student who needs to work on this skill. This is great practice for students with IEP goals in learning sight words or in reading fluency. Just print and use. Happy reading!
