Description

This product utilizes Google Forms and Google My Maps and to utilize the technology necessary, the teacher will need a google account and students will need a way to access the form online.

Get to know your students better by having them create a Google map that shows fun information about their favorite snack and where they would vacation if money were no object. Great way to break the ice at the beginning of the year!

The google form is made for you by clicking the link in the download. From there, you can edit the questions (or leave them as-is) to better represent whatever information you'd like to have students share on the map.

Full instructions are included in the download. There are step-by-step with screenshots in full color that will walk you through everything you need! Successful use of this activity requires only a basic understanding of google forms as everything you need to know is described in detail.

Google My Maps is a really cool Google tool - once you see how easy it is to create a map, I'll bet you will find dozens of ways to use Google Forms and My Maps throughout the year in whatever content you teach!

Looking for more Back-to-School Activities? I have a Back-to-School bundle with this product AND writing prompts, icebreakers, and Group Activities for sale here on TpT.

Word Doc Version (fully editable): Back to School Bundle

PDF Version: Back to School Bundle

I also have a ton of great general interest logic puzzles that are great as part of emergency sub plans. See them all here:
