This packet is designed to be a note taking guide that students can use to write down their thoughts and ideas as you go through the attached Canva slides presentation. This is a generic note taking guide for all 9 planets in our solar system and the Sun.
The idea for this lesson is to start to familiarize students with their place in the solar system and the other planets. Each slide of the presentation includes a few simple, yet important facts for each planet. The student should pick two and write them down.
In this packet, the student can work through science reading skills, handwriting skills, following the directions coloring page, and word search. In the end, there is a 5-question and 10-question quiz. Both quizzes are similar, but one is intended for deeper questions and understanding.
