Description

Looking for a fun end of year math activity? Get your students practicing their math facts in an engaging and active way by having them create their own outdoor math games. This digital project is great for the end of the school year or at the end of a math strand/topic. Students can get creative or use an existing game and add a mathematical twist. They will create instructions, rules and demonstrate how the game is played. It is a great way to review math concepts from the year/strand/topic while getting active outdoors.

This package contains:

~ Detailed teacher notes

~ Digital Google Slides student package which includes a 6-step process:

Brainstorming, Organizing/Planning, Practicing, Evaluating, Presenting and Playing

Assessment

This project can be assessed for:

~ Language (Writing - procedure)

~ Math
