Description
Students should work with a partner to complete this worksheet in class.
Students are asked to determine the equation of a line between two points. They are expected to calculate the slope between the two points. Partner A will use the slope and Point A to determine the equation of the line using the point-slope formula. Partner B will use the slope and Point B to determine the equation of the line using the point-slope formula.
Their equations should be converted to slope-intercept form.
Students should realize both linear equations should be the same, regardless of which point is used.
