Directions: To figure out the code rules you must use critical thinking skills. Look at the answers to the math problems. Figure out what number each color penguin represents. When you think you found all of the code rules check your work. Can you complete this challenge?
Teachers, parents and guardians: Watch how your children use unique skills to solve these worksheets. You will be amazed at what they can come up with!
Individual: Have each student time themselves to see how long it takes them to solve. They can do this on their own. It can also be a competition between everyone in the classroom to see who finishes first!
Groups: Set a stopwatch and see which team solves it first and second!
After completion: Have students discuss their strategies. What worked? What did not work?
