Classic strategy
PIRATES was a strategy when I was a student 20+ years go and it still works. This was a great resource for teaching my students.
This acronym is a great way to help students with test taking.
This resource was very useful. I had to make a few changes because the version I use is from KU CRL, but it only took a few minutes. Having this presentation already done, made things so much faster.
I have used PIRATES for years to teach test taking strategies to my special ed students. This product made it so much easier and FUN!! I even bought the had, hook, and eye patch and the kids loved it so much I had to go into other middle school classes and"perform" and I had teachers asking to borrow my posters! Great job!
