Description

Is your PLC working together to help all students learn at their most optimal levels? Are those levels vast? Is it challenging to identify the best way to support each level? This MS Excel spreadsheet may help you focus on the diverse needs of each level.

My experience working with PLCs in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade has involved conversations where we grappled with intervening with students who need additional supports AND enriching students who are exceeding expectations.
This spreadsheet is helpful to PLCs who currently use pretests to drive their instructional decisions for students at all levels of performance, from well below to above expectations.
Warning: This is a spreadsheet for teachers proficient with using formative data. Read through the entire sheet while you think about a unit of instruction in which you regularly differentiate instruction. Thinking through the entire document usually guides people to LOVE the process. I encourage you to contact me with questions!
