PURCHASE DECISIONS focuses on linear systems as they represent real world situations about choosing a temporary phone plan after college. This is an extended problem solving activity for use in Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 or Algebra 2. I use this with students in small groups working collaboratively through the activity.
