Description

This is resource adapted from NCDPI AIG Program. It is intended to be used as an enrichment activity. I like to start the activity by having students watch a video about deciduous forests. I tell them that they are going on a weekend trip there and they are only allowed to pack 30 pounds worth of materials from the list. After they have determined what is needed, I have students cut those items out, paste them on their backpack. Lastly, students can decorate their bag!

Packet includes:

-How to Use

-Standards

-Weekend Supply List with 33 Items

-4 Different Backpacks for students to choose from

-Comparison of Supplies Worksheet
