Want a fun way to build your classroom reading community???

These slips will help you do just that!!

Anytime a student finishes a book, or we finish a book as a class, they will fill out one of the slips and drop it in the jar! Picture books, chapter books, and graphic novels will all count the same...because reading is reading! Once the jar gets a few slips in it, the kids will add it up to our running total! (Hello, math!) We will display our class total on the whiteboard outside my door! Of course this is just for fun and to promote a community of READERS! I’m excited to see how many pages we can get to!
