Description

Students will LOVE this Paper Chain collaborative art lesson! It is perfect for older elementary students or middle and high school students and promotes team building. Students will be able to recall information about pixels and DPI, create an abstract image using paper chains and work collaboratively to create a large mural in a timely manner.

The PowerPoint and/or PDF slides include: lesson objectives, standards (Follow directions and complete art tasks in a timely manner to show development of 21st century skills - VA.68.F.3.4 /Collaborate with peers to complete an art task and develop leadership skills - VA.68.F.3.3 ), art vocabulary (abstract art, DPI and medium), materials needed, step-by-step instructions, student examples, printable rubric, reflection questions and a YouTube video art tutorial.

Your students will love this collaborative art lesson and it is a perfect way to make inexpensive murals for your school. Perfect back to school art project!
