Description
Learners form groups of 3-4 and compete against each other in a paper plane building competition. Mirroring the Red Bull Paper Wings competition, teams compete against each other in three throwing classes: Longest Distance, Aerobatics, and Longest Airtime.
The project is customizable to age and content and you can make it as fun, or in-depth, or both as you want. For younger grades, just making the planes and throwing them is a blast, but for older grades, you could teach to the level you require.

This was a good resource - but unfortunately, and perhaps due to the pandemic, the world-wide paper plane competition is no longer happening. My students still got a lot out of this resource, and I still recommend!
Thanks Jennifer, I'm glad they had fun.
Hopefully even more so in the future.
