This paragraph edit is based on the book, Sideways Stories from Wayside School. It uses excepts from the stories for students to edit. there are 5 different passages for the students to glue into their notebooks or you can make it into a center! I have my students use a colored pencil to edit the passage and then rewrite correctly in their notebooks. The directions for each passage tell the students how many mistakes to look to in each passage. The passages are fun and your students will love doing this activity!
