Parallel Lines & Transversals Task Cards
I don't know if you have noticed, but there aren't a lot of resources for parallel lines and transversals! This is a set of 24 task cards that can be used for reinforcement, a pre-test, review, or just for a fun activity! The questions deal with all types of angle relationships in a variety of styles including short answer and multiple choice.
What you get:
➸ 20 color task cards
➸ 20 black and white task cards
➸ Student answer sheet
➸ Key
You can laminate these and use them again and again. You could also hole punch each and keep them on a key ring for quick reference.

Use informal arguments to establish facts about the angle sum and exterior angle of triangles, about the angles created when parallel lines are cut by a transversal, and the angle-angle criterion for similarity of triangles. For example, arrange three copies of the same triangle so that the sum of the three angles appears to form a line, and give an argument in terms of transversals why this is so.
