Description
This worksheet that has 10 problems that deal with parallel and perpendicular slopes. The first four problems given have 2 lines, and the students have to determine if the lines have parallel, perpendicular, or not related slopes. Two of these problems need the slope formula and the other two the student are required to get linear equations in slope-intercept form. The next four problems require the students to write linear equations, given a point, and a slope relationship. The last two problems students are given a graph and have to write a linear equation through a point that has a parallel or perpendicular slope to the graph. It is a great in class worksheet or homework assignment to allow the students to practice this important skill.
