Families in my class responded positively to Math Check-In notes. It was exciting to see the improvement in student learning and performance as a result of sending home Math Check-Ins. Students would announce how they had been working at home with their parents and what they had accomplished.

It is very satisfying to have solid data, a way to communicate with families, and a means to build stronger home-school partnerships for the benefit of their child’s learning.

Great for MTSS, RTI, IEPs, progress monitoring, and progress reports.

Simply copy the Math Check-In notes. Take data throughout the week. Record your data. Share your data with parents using the Math Check-In notes. Easy for teachers. Helpful for parents. Students grow and learn. Everyone wins.

Thank you Terry. The quick notes really helped my parents to know where their child was performing in class more often than report cards and how to support their child to reach the next level. All the best in growing young mathematicians!

I look forward to using these in fall especially the parent letter for how they can help at home. I do wish the odd fish images were not part on these sheets. Is there a way to delete them?

Thank you so much for your feedback! We are so excited you are going to use it in the fall; we had great success in our classroom when we tested it, and hope your students benefit as much as ours did. Unfortunately, because of the PDF format we do not offer an unillustrated version at this time. We will keep your thoughts in mind as we create new projects. Thanks again for your support. - CT and Rara
