Description
This is a simple worksheet that I use to introduce Songwriting to my older students.
This worksheet uses Carly Rae Jepson's "Call Me Maybe" as the song they use for inspiration.
Parody Songwriting means taking a song and changing the concept of the song, therefore writing new lyrics. Students find the task very enjoyable and then sing their version along to a karaoke backing track.
It has also been used by English Teachers as a fun writing project.
