Description

*** Revised to include 2 new recording sheets!! (see preview) ***

Students can use these 16 task cards to practice problem solving skills with the part-part-whole model. Each card includes an addition or subtraction word problem using double-digit numbers with a solution within 100. If part-part-whole chart is printed on the back of the word problem card and laminated, students can flip card and solve using dry-erase markers.

The part-part-whole chart includes a fill-in-the-blank addition equation and a number line. The subtraction problems can be solved as a missing addend using these tools. Part-part-whole charts can also be printed 6 per page as a blank worksheet to use with cards.

This file can also be viewed on the iPad or on a projector for whole/small group practice. Print out as task cards for independent or partner practice (Directions for printing included).
