With just two readers, students do not have to wait forever to read their next line. Instead, they read every other line! Plus, this script is engaging, educational, and even includes some humor!
This partner play script is about a girl whose tooth is about to fall out. It is intended to be used as a fluency-building activity that 2nd and 3rd-grade students can read with a classmate or a parent/guardian. These scripts require minimal teacher support, thereby allowing teachers to work with other small groups. For teachers who implement reading centers, these plays are perfect.
