Description

Do your students love to read scripts? Most kids do! Partner play scripts are written for just two readers, so students can find a classmate and begin reading! With just two readers, students do not have to wait forever to read their next line. Instead, they read every other line! Plus, this script is engaging, educational, and even includes some humor!

This partner play script is about a girl whose tooth is about to fall out. It is intended to be used as a fluency-building activity that 2nd and 3rd-grade students can read with a classmate or a parent/guardian. These scripts require minimal teacher support, thereby allowing teachers to work with other small groups. For teachers who implement reading centers, these plays are perfect. These scripts are also ideal for parents who are looking for fun at-home reading activities that parents and children can read together. If you have a child who is reluctant to read at home, I encourage you to give these scripts a try!

It comes with a BONUS comprehension worksheet. After reading each script, students are asked to answer four questions related to the script.

This resource is available in multiple formats. Each teacher gets to choose the format that best meets his/her students' needs. You will choose between the printable script and the paperless script that is compatible with Google Slides. This script is exactly two pages, making it easy to print them back-to-back on a single page.
