Description

This product is a set of task cards that can be distributed to pairs of students who are actively reading together. Each card has a clipart image and a detailed description of what is expected for that student during the active reading process. The two tasks are: "Reader," which is responsible for reading the assigned sections of the text aloud to build reading fluency, and "Summarizer," which is responsible for paying attention to the Reader and concisely describing what was read on the pair's Comprehension Strategy following the reading.

Upon purchase, the download is editable based on the unique reading needs of the students in your classroom!
