This Passe Compose activity will get your French students up out of their seat and moving about your room, all while practicing their Passe Compose! On the first page of the document there are 23 sentences written in the Passe Compose. Then there are the English translations to the sentences. The English sentences are numbered. You can cut the English sentences into strips and hang them around the room (it makes it fun for the kids to try and find them). The students then take their French sentences around to each of the English sentences and figure out which sentence on their sheet matches the English. They then write the number of the English sentences next to the corresponding French. All of the sentences include the supermarket so that the students must now the meaning of the verbs to choose correctly.
