"My students that were able to understand what they were doing loved this. Some chose to stack, some created pictures. This was hard for a few of my ID friends but we did our best to adapt it to fit our needs."

The kids have fun with this one. I use it as a center in math.
I used this at the beginning of the year to teach communication. 2 students had the same card with the same pattern blocks. They each made their own design and then discussed it.
Great resource!
My students love to see what they can create with the set described. I like how it gives them a challenge and purpose during their exploration time. They have to think about a way to put the pattern blocks together.
My kids love these because they can create whatever they want to with the shapes that are on the card. These are a favorite in our STEM bins!
My daughter enjoys the challenge of creating something with a set amount/color of pattern blocks. She has come up with some great designs! I will use these with my students in morning tubs when we are allowed to have shared materials again!
Great activity for manipulating shapes.
