Students will use pattern blocks (provided by the teacher) to create an artistic design. Students will then calculate percentage based on their design, practicing how to determine the percent, when given the part and whole. This file includes the project directions, work space for students to calculate their percents, as well as the grading rubric for students and the teacher.
