These posters feature the six standard pattern block shapes and colors. One style includes the shape name, the other includes the name and color.
The packet also includes two sets of pattern block cards (one with shape names, one without) that can be used for a math word wall, vocabulary, anchor charts, and more.
One poster features all six shapes: hexagon, trapezoid, square, triangle, rhombus (blue), and rhombus (tan).
There are two shape sorting mats: sort by pattern block and sort number of sides.
Worksheets:
Attribute Table 1: Given the shape, fill in sides, corners, name
Attribute Table 2: Given different pieces of information, complete the table
Equal Parts of a Hexagon: Early introduction to fractions activity sheet
Pattern Block Pals: Create a pal, record shapes used, draw
Pattern Block Count & Graph: Given a bag or box of shapes, count & graph, then answer 5 data questions
Pattern Block Addition: Add two sets of shapes, write a matching equation
Attribute Addition: Add the total number of corners found in a group of shape, write a matching equation
