Help your students explore, investigate and discover mathematical concepts and shapes with these pattern block puzzles!!
This pack includes themed puzzles for February. Each puzzle comes in 3 different versions for 3 different levels of difficulty. The first version shows the student the shapes he/she will need to build the picture. The second version is an outline of the picture they will build. The third version is a "build your own" mat.
There are 4 different response sheet to choose from depending on your students ability and what skills you want to focus on. Skills on the response pages include: counting, graphing, adding, tallying, greater than, less than and equal to and more/less.
There are dice and spinners included so that if they choose to, the students can use it as a game to see who can build their picture first.
Themed puzzles include:

George Washington
Abraham Lincloln
Penguin
Heart
Cupcake
Dental Health

Love the seasonal themes...great that kids now how to use it and I can just change it out each round of tubs. Engaging!!

This product is absolutely amazing!
So cute and easy to use!
I use this resource in a morning work tub. Each morning, my kids have 5 different activities to choose from. I always have a pattern block tub as an option. It's so easy to print these designs and put them into the tub each month. They love to see what the new pictures will be. Early in the year, they put the blocks right onto the cards. Later, they are challenged to try and make the design on the carpet. They can also write a sentence or two about their picture.
My kids practiced important skills with these activities and were engaged. Thank you for sharing your teacher talents with the world.
