Pattern Block Symmetry Activity | Geometry Math Center | Shapes + Symmetry
With this fun, hands-on activity, students will practice symmetry, shape identification, and addition using pattern blocks. This engaging math center includes pattern block mats, task cards, and recording sheets to suport geometry skills in grades 1-3.
What's included:
- 11 Full-Size Pattern Block Mats (students make the symmetrical design directly on the mat)
- 11 Pattern Block Task Cards (students create the entire design)
- Black and White versions (this can be more challenging and also works if you have different colored pattern blocks)
- Recording Sheets for identifying shapes and adding the total number of shapes in each design
